100 food packages delivered to Penatih

Today was the kick off of food packages delivered to Penatih. Penatih is one of the suburbs of Denpasar and consist out of 10 banjars. Many people living here work in hospitality, either in Sanur or in the Kuta/Seminyak region. Penatih is an urban area, which makes it harder for people to pick up their lives after losing their job. Families depend on them.

Similar as in Bitera we work closely together with the local government to define who is eligible to receive aid. Kelian Banjar’s identify the needy and make up lists. Those lists are with us and with the local government and food packages can only be received when one can identify him/herself. The local government keeps track of the lists as well and makes sure that all needy receive aid. Please keep helping us. Our fundraiser on Go Fund Me still needs 230 euro to be completed.
